Bubble milk tea
Tapioca pearls used in Boba or Bubble tea are extracted from cassava and it tastes slightly sweet and gelatinous. Often, they are sold dried to prepare at home in 5 minutes, depending on the manufacturer's instructions.
They are widely used in a variety of dishes, but we suggest using them as a beverage tea.
Prepare black tea (one teaspoon) in a separate pot. Hydrated 1/4 cup tapioca pearls and add them on the glass that you're going to use for serve.
Then add ice to fill the glass, the tea (if you like soft, sweeten previously) and milk, which can be from cow, soy, rice or oats, depending on the taste/personal tolerances. Coconut milk can also give an exotic flavour.
Tip: if you want to use straws, buy those where tapioca pearls can fit in the diameter.
