To save time we will start with ready-made popcorn. This way you can use the microwave popcorn that is bought in any store. Now, I tell you how I do them:
• 8 cups popcorn ready
• 2 tablespoons of sugar
• 20 ml of water
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• ½ teaspoon of salt
• Two tablespoons of unsalted butter
1. In a saucepan melt the butter over low heat, add water, sugar, cinnamon and salt. Stir gently until the sugar dissolves and reduce a little.
2. Place the popcorn in a large bowl and pour the previous mixture over them. Stir with a spoon until the popcorn is completely covered.
3. Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper. Pour and distribute the popcorn on the paper.
4. Bake, uncovered, at 150 ° C for 10 or 15 minutes. Stir every three or four minutes.
5. Remove from the oven and continue stirring for a few minutes. As the popcorn cools it becomes more crispy and delicious.
